Our Story

From The Hague to the whole of the Netherlands

In 2019, Ramon Chapper founded the company as House Clearance The Hague — a clearance service built for the international community in The Hague.

The Hague is home to over 100 embassies and thousands of expat families who rotate regularly. At the time, there was no clearance company that spoke their language or understood their timelines. It started with one diplomatic family in Statenkwartier. It grew from there.

Today, 247 House Clearance is a nationwide service provider with teams across the Netherlands. The founding principles never changed: respect, transparency, and sustainability. Only the reach has grown.

Our Values

What we stand for

Clearing a property is often an emotional and physically demanding task. We were founded with the conviction that it can be done better — more professionally, but above all more humanely.

Respect

For your belongings, your situation, and your emotions. We are not box-pushers — we understand what certain items mean to you.

Transparency

No surprises afterwards. A clear price indication upfront, honest communication, and firm agreements.

Sustainability

Sustainability isn't a buzzword for us. It's built into how we work — from on-site sorting to donations to charitable organisations.

Craftsmanship

Professionals, not amateurs with a van. VCA-certified, NIWO-licensed, with certified valuers and full insurance.

Sustainability

How We Work

Disposal is our absolute last resort. During every house clearance, each item is assessed individually. Our trained teams sort on-site, keeping material streams separated from the very start.

Usable items go to charity shops, refugee housing, and student initiatives. Recyclable materials are separated and sent to certified Dutch processing facilities. Energy recovery over landfill — never straight to the tip.
